Der Bergsteiger is a place for those who feel most alive in the mountains —
for those who feel the wind on their face, hear the crunch of snow beneath their boots, or listen to the sound of rain as it hits the ground.
The idea for this website grew out of a deep passion for hiking, trekking, and alpine adventure.
Who I am
My name is Marius.
I have spent countless days in the mountains — on quiet trails, in remote valleys, and in regions where you learn to rely on yourself.
When I’m outdoors, it’s in the mountains where I feel most at home.
It has always been my dream to explore the world:
to discover remote places, meet people, visit villages far off the beaten path, and experience new cultures, traditions, and ways of life.
On this site, I share my experiences from the mountains, tour ideas, packing lists, and the gear I personally use on my journeys.
